Abraham takes all of Home Care Concierge’s values to heart and lives them out daily, especially compassion. He grew up in Uganda and moved to the U.S. in 2014. Abraham has studied arts and education and enjoys eating rice, beef, and chicken. He also really enjoys vacations and soccer.

“I believe in myself. I treat others the way I want to be treated,” he said. “I understand how precious time is. I look for the positive in all things. I trust my intuition.”

Daniel has a big heart and captures the hearts of all his clients. He is born & raised in Westerville and has studied exercise science and nursing. Daniel enjoys eating chicken, the gym, stock trading, and anything sports-related; he even played football at Youngstown State University.

Danielle is a calming presence for her clients. She was born and raised in Columbus, OH, and studied to be a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and a patient care assistant (PCA).

Danielle loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, and inspiring and uplifting women about how to feel good about themselves. She also loves steak and lobster. “I got into the medical field while helping care for my grandparents,” she said. “This has had a hold on my heart ever since.

Gladys has been with us for a very long time; her clients love her. She grew up in the capital of Ghana, Accra. Gladys studied vocational, and her favorite foods are plantains and spinach sauce.

Gladys loves kids and is a Sunday school teacher. She adopted an orphanage in Ghana, has a son and daughter-in-law and loves dogs.

Ivory is a caring, compassionate caregiver. Despite being newer to caregiving, she has had no problems proving how invaluable she is. Born in Orange County, CA, and raised in Columbus, OH. Ivory has studied translation/interpretation and international relations.

She said her favorite food is ice cream, “preferably sherbet, but I’m not picky.” Ivory loves hiking and kayaking. To relax, she watches foreign or old black & white films. “I’m very thankful for my experiences with Capital Health,” she said. “Supporting someone else brings meaning to my day. I’m glad to have given such a wonderful opportunity.”

Ranae is the definition of compassion, a passionate advocate for our seniors, and a dedicated, hard-working caregiver. Born and raised on the north side of Columbus, Ohio, she has studied to be a medical assistant and hopes to finish and get her degree soon.

Ranae said she is an absolute foodie. “I have no particular favorite,” she said. “I LOVE IT ALL!” She enjoys movies and traveling. “I am very interested in seeing how other cultures around the world live,” she said. “I’ve been in healthcare for 25+ years. It’s so much more than a job – it’s my calling,” she said. “I take elderly care VERY seriously and promise to dedicate my life to doing so!”

Timi represents all of our values here at Home Care Concierge daily.
Her early life was in New Jersey, and she’s been in Columbus for around the past 18 years, mainly in Worthington. Timi studied industrial design at The Ohio State University, and her favorite food is fries. “I can eat fries in any form: crinkle cut, waffle, shoestring!” she said.

She is interested in application design, how it looks and feels, and user interaction. “I value faith, family, and connections,” she said. “I believe we’re all here to take care of one another; through kindness, generosity and compassion. I hope to leave this world a little better than I found it.”

Ya is very driven; she worked full time while taking a full college course load. We can’t remember a time she has walked into the office without a smile. Ya grew up in China and came to the U.S. at age 24. She loves meeting and talking to people, so patient care is the best.

Ya studied to be an RN. She loves nature activities such as hiking, camping, and canoeing and enjoys eating pizza. “How my client feels is very important to me,” she said. “Most clients are lonely and felt left out due to their medical condition and aging. It means a lot to me when they enjoy my company.”

Administrative Assistant since 2017
Carol is one of the most caring, compassionate individuals you’ll ever meet and makes our clients and team her top priority. Originally from California, she studied medical assisting at Western Nevada Community College and nursing at Columbus State.

Carol enjoys Mexican & Italian food, ministry, camping, cooking, trips to the ocean, dog & house sitting, football, and hockey. “Faith and family are important to me,” she said. “I use my caregiving skills to help brighten the day of those around me.”

Capital Health staff since 2013
Our manager Kendra is essential to our organization; you are welcome to speak with her when you call our office. She’s from Kirkersville in Licking County, Ohio and is now based in Reynoldsburg. Kendra studied accounting in high school but said she quickly found out it was not for her. She enjoys eating salmon “just about any way you can make it.”

Kendra loves spending time with her husband and family, camping, hiking, and white-water rafting. “Family is your most important asset so for us to be allowed into someone’s home to assist with their care is our greatest honor,” she said. “We need to listen more than we speak and give more than we get.”

Community Liaison since 2020
As our Community Liaison, Lindsay spreads the word about our Home Care Concierge services. She grew up in Gahanna, Ohio (Go Lions!), and has also lived in Texas for ten years. Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Texas State University.

Lindsay comes from an Italian family, which means her favorite foods are carbs and cheese. Whenever the sun is shining, you will find her outside with her two dogs, Dice & Trumpet. Lindsay also coaches a Columbus club volleyball team, and in her spare time, she travels, reads, and makes candles.

Lindsay is going back to school for a master’s degree in Dementia & Aging. “My best friend, Grammy, fought a hard battle with Dementia,” she said. “I have made it my life goal to help others battling the same fight. Watch out, Dementia; I’m coming to kick your butt!”
